Terms of Use

LabanPH is not a law firm. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice. Complaint letters and guides are informational templates — you are responsible for their accuracy and for deciding whether and how to submit them to regulators.

1. Acceptance

  • By using LabanPH (labanph.org), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

2. Who we are

  • LabanPH is an independent consumer advocacy platform. It is operated by a US LLC. It is not affiliated with any Philippine government agency, regulatory body, or the companies it monitors.

3. Your submissions

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of complaints you submit. Do not submit false, fabricated, or maliciously misleading information about any company or individual.
  • By submitting, you grant LabanPH a non-exclusive license to publish an anonymized summary of your complaint on the platform and to include it in regulatory filings that you generate.
  • You retain ownership of your submission. We will delete your personal data upon request (except IPFS-pinned content — see Privacy Policy).
  • Do not submit content that is defamatory, harassing, or violates the rights of third parties. We reserve the right to reject or remove submissions that violate these terms.

4. Accountability Ledger

  • Named individuals in the Accountability Ledger are public officers, directors, attorneys of record, or company representatives — cited to public documents only.
  • If you believe an entry is inaccurate or violates your rights, email us at hello@clawback.ph with subject 'Ledger Dispute' and supporting documentation. We review and respond within 48 hours.

5. IPFS submissions

  • If you opt your evidence into IPFS, it is permanently and irreversibly published to a public decentralized network. LabanPH cannot delete it after pinning.
  • Only opt in if you understand and accept this. We show two explicit confirmation prompts before any IPFS action.

6. Whistleblower bounty

  • Bounties are discretionary and subject to verification of evidence quality and authenticity.
  • LabanPH reserves the right to reject evidence or reduce bounty tier if the submission does not meet quality standards.
  • Bounties are paid via GCash or other methods specified at payout. LabanPH is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect payout details you submit.

7. No warranties

  • The platform is provided 'as is.' We make no warranty that complaint letters will be accepted by regulators, that your complaint will result in any outcome, or that the platform will be available without interruption.
  • Rate comparison data (loans, remittance, pawnshop, GPS) is for informational purposes. Verify current rates with providers before applying.

8. Limitation of liability

  • LabanPH is not liable for any damages arising from: use or inability to use the platform; reliance on complaint letters or guides; actions taken by regulators or companies in response to complaints; IPFS permanence of your content.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to zero — we charge nothing, we owe nothing.

9. Affiliate links

  • Rate comparison pages may contain affiliate links. We earn a small commission when you apply through our links, at no cost to you. This does not influence the ranking or selection of providers. Bad actors are listed regardless of affiliate relationship.

10. Intellectual property

  • LabanPH's design, code, and original content are our intellectual property. Complaint templates you generate are yours to use freely.
  • You may not scrape, replicate, or redistribute the complaint database or rate comparison data for commercial purposes without written permission.

11. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the United States (for the operating entity) and the Republic of the Philippines (for consumer-facing protections invoked on the platform). Disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction most favorable to the consumer.

12. Changes

  • We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on Telegram @labanph. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance.
